How this determination works

Article 3.2.6.1 sets out when Subsection 3.2.6 applies. Its clauses turn on the building's applicable major occupancy classifications, the height of the top storey, the highest storey of a Group B or Group C major occupancy or of a retirement home, the storey of a Group B, Division 2 or 3 floor area, the occupant load and exit stairs on each storey, and construction in conformance with Article 3.2.2.57 or 3.2.2.93.

Codara asks for the figures each applicable clause needs, compares them with the Article's verified thresholds, and reports every clause it checked. It does not classify major occupancies, decide which storey is the first storey, determine conformance with Article 3.2.2.57 or 3.2.2.93, or assess the measures of Subsection 3.2.6 itself.
